About

Jackson Trail Tradition

Pop’s, our founder.

Lloyd Fitzgerald had the vision to get his kids out of suburbia and give them a life in rural America on Jackson Trail.

When he was a small child in the 1930’s he would walk from downtown Fort Worth and camp out with his dad on this land. They would dream of a day when they could escape from the city and live on the farm.

Pops eventually moved his family out to the farm and build his dream home. He took a year off of work and learned how to build a house. In 1970 he build a house that was ahead of it’s time. It has become the hub of the family gatherings.

Second Gen

Alan and Kerri built their dream home next to Pop’s home in the 1980’s. They followed in the lineage of Pops and Alan built his home.
